Biography

His great passion for music developed rather early. At the age of 14 he began collecting Vinyl and spent most of his leisure time in record shops. He grew up predominantly with 90’s rap and still feels deeply connected to it. Through the «Golden Era» he discovered his love for hip hop culture and its different elements. As time went on he started dealing more deeply with the culture and due to this he also found the route to funk, soul and rhythm & blues. He realised how intricately these genres are interconnected with rap.

As time passed his interest grew and the desire to give some of the love back, that he gets from music, increased. He tried Mcing and the art of graffiti, but neither of them felt “right”. In Djing he finally found the right outlet to express himself. At this time he got to know the successful and very talented DJ Redrum who shared some of his knowledge. Due to this he feels a dept of gratitude.

After his first gig in 2010, his great passion was unstoppable. He kept on working on his skills. In 2012 he won a DJ Battle in Berne and founded his first urban party label in Basel. As time went by he played in different clubs and collected a lot of experiences. He was very excited, that he became a resident DJ at the former 25UP event series at the beginning of 2016. In 2016 he was also admitted to the DJ roster of the well-known booking agency Action Booking. Another important moment in his DJ career was in 2018, where he played at this first wedding. He realized how much fun he was having playing at a wedding. From that point onward he started playing at weddings regularly and also became a member of the Wedding Voice team. Since then, he has made many wedding parties unforgettable in beautiful locations all over Switzerland.

He loves what he does and you can feel that energy, when he is behind the turntables. Regardless of the genre DJ Moneypulation plays, he always has a knack for the appropriate song. His love of music drives him forward and is his main "driving force".
